Circular letter concerning visa application procedure

Dear participants,

To visit the 39th IChO in Moscow your team members will need to get Russian entry visa. Now we have finalized a special simplified procedure for visa application of the IChO participants. According to this procedure, you will need first to let us know exact names (with spelling as in the passport) and passport numbers of all (!) the members of your delegation including scientific observers and guests. Please send this information by email to <secretary@icho39.chem.msu.ru>. Having this information, we will issue the official invitation letter signed by Valery Lunin, President of the 39 IChO. This letter will be sent to you by fax. Then the headmentor of the team (or the person, mentioned in address) will have to collect all (!) the passports of the team members and bring the passports along with the invitation letter to the Russian Embassy or Consulate. Please note that the procedure is valid only in case you apply for visas of the whole delegation at one time. The list of cities where you should apply for Russian entry visa is posted on the 39^th IChO website (www.icho39.chem.msu.ru). Please note that if there is more than one Russian Consulate in your country, you should enter only the Consulate indicated in the list.

The cost of Russian visa differs from one country to another. So you should ask Russian Consulate in your country for this information. We hope you will pay the lowest possible price with our invitation.
